Teams of 2 of the same gender with compete against the other teams to determine the strongest, fastest and fittest.

 

The Unbreakable Games are a two-day event testing all aspects of fitness. We are looking for teams of two (male-male and female-female) to compete in the Rx and Scaled divisions. We are looking to make this the largest Garage Games competition in Indiana with competitors coming from near and far. Athletes will compete indoors and outside.
 
The Games will take place on August 2 and 3. Check-in will start at 7:30. Athletes must check-in by 8:30 for the standards announcements each day. The first WOD will take place at 9:00AM each day. Athletes can expect 3 WODs each day. The final 6 teams will also complete a fourth WOD on Sunday. There will be cash prizes to those that finish on the podium along with swag from our sponsors.
Day 1 WOD 1: Clean & Jerk Ladder
 
Rx and Scaled will have 10 minutes to establish a max total in a Clean & Jerk Ladder. Teams must select a starting weight: #65, 95, 135, 185, 225, 275, or 315. Teams may only progress #10/team. Athletes may C&J the same amout or move up #10 after a successful completion. Athletes may progress in any order. The score will be the combined total.
 
Day 1 WOD 2: Double Unders and Box Jumps
 
10 minute AMRAP. 1 athlete will hold #135/95 in the front rack (#95/65 scaled) while the other athlete works on the AMRAP. The AMRAP is 25 Double Unders (Scaled 75 Single Unders) and 10 box jumps 24/20″. Athletes may switch as needed. AMRAP reps only count once the other athlete is holding the barbell in the front rack. Score will be total reps for the team.
 
Day 1 WOD 3: Chipper.
 
One partner works while the other rests. Either athlete or both may complete reps. Athletes cannot progress to the next movement until the current movement is completed. Time Cap: 14 minutes. The chipper is as follows:
60 Burpees
40 Shoulder To Overhead #135/85 (Scaled #95/65)
20 Toes To Bar (Scaled Ab Mat Sit ups)
60 Kettle Bell Swings #53/35
40 Thrusters #135/85 (Scaled #95/65)
20 Bar Muscle Ups (Scaled Hand Release Push Ups)

 

 Standards
 
All movements must be performed to CrossFit Open standards. Two WODs will be posted 1 week prior to the event.

Power lifts: for max load
Pull-ups and muscle-ups
Skill work: Hand stand push ups, double unders, rope ascends
Heavy object carry, sled push/pull, 
Running and rowing for speed and/or distance
Box jumps
