Max Efforts:
With a 15 minute running clock, the first 5 minutes 2 partners establish a 1RM Snatch and the second 5 minutes the other 2 partners establish a 1RM Clean.
– Mix Teams will send 1 male and 1 female to each part.
– Clock starts with empty barbell (1 men bar/1 women bar for mixed), clamps required for every lift.
– Any snatch variation allowed, you DO NOT have to catch it in a squat or pass through parallel at any time.
– Clean- from the ground, one continuous motion (no hang clean).
– Any Clean variation allowed, DO NOT have to squat.
– 1 minute transition.
– 4 minutes for the Team to establish max calories on the Rower/Air Assault Bikes, USING ANY COMBINATION OF ATHLETES- both Rower and Bike will be performed together.
– Teams will get scored on total load of lifts AND total calories.
Chipper:
– Any combination of 2 athletes for mix teams (we will have 2 of each piece of equipment)
– Teams may break up the 50-40-30-20 reps HOWEVER they chose.
– First WB rep must pass through full squat.
– May not catch any WB off the ground (bounce).
– May catch partner WB from the back, but no side to side rotating reps.
– KB Swings- the KB must be in line with the body at the top of the rep. May not drop the KB.
– Power Cleans taken from the ground.
– Each rep finishes with the bar racked on the shoulders and the elbows clearly in front of the bar with the hips and knees fully extended.
– Box Jump Overs- athletes MAY step (or jump) but must be on top of the box with both feet, hips do NOT have to extend on top of box (4 Male/Mix have 24″ Box, 4 Female 20″). Hands CAN NOT touch the box.
Beach Sled Relay:
– Each athlete will carry the sled the same EXACT distance- coarse broken up into quarters.
– Athletes must drag the sled however they choose across the designated line before switching.
– Mix teams- males will go first and at turnaround the team will strip off plate, and the women will finish the course.
– Mix teams- males must bring plate back with the sled or the clock keeps ticking.
Barbell Couplets:
– Teams will have 1 bar (or 2 for mix teams) loaded with respective weight.
– Any combination of 2 athletes for mix teams.
– Teams may break up reps for both couplets HOWEVER they chose.
– Burpees (lateral or bar facing)- chest/quads hit ground and you MAY step over barbell. Two feet must be on ground before your hands make contact with the ground.
– Any pullup variation allowed as long as chin is clearly above the bar.
– Any snatch variation allowed.
