The CrossFit Steam Spring Challenge

East Rutherford, NJ - May 11th 2014

Please join us for The CrossFit Steam Spring Classic. This one day event will host 3 guaranteed WODs with the top 5 athletes in each division moving on to a 4th and final WOD to determine the champion. You can expect this to be a traditional, yet challenging CrossFit style competition, meaning you will need to be proficient in all 10 of CrossFit’s General Physical Skills. We will have both Rx and Scaled divisions and prizes for the top 3 athletes in each division.

THIS EVENT WILL BE CAPPED AT 75 ATHLETES.

First WOD for the CrossFit Steam Spring Challenge is:

7m Time Cap

100 Double Unders

Then with remaining time, establish a 1 rep max clean and jerk complex

1 Deadlift

1 Hang Squat Clean

1 Jerk

If you hit your 1 rep max, with the remaining time perform as many double unders for your tie breaker.

Scaled version will be the same, except sub 200 single unders.  It is mandatory that you do single unders, regardless if you can do double unders.

9m Time Cap, if you do not finish, the number of reps that you have left, get added to your score, 1 Rep equals 1 Second
