Pound For Pound (#4#) - Where size DOES matter!

Pound For Pound 2012 is a one-day competition to be held at Riverfront Park in downtown Montgomery on May 12. Individual competition will include Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner, and Masters (40+) levels. Team competition will include Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner levels. Advanced and Intermediate competitors will complete four workouts. Beginner competitors will complete three workouts. Teams consist of two athletes of any combination of male or female.

WHAT MAKES #4# UNIQUE?

Scoring and weights used in the workouts for advanced and scaled athletes will be scaled based on the body weight of the athlete.

The WODs for Pound For Pound 2012 have been announced! Download the Events Outline (pdf file). CrossFit Montgomery owners and trainers David & Jennie Sumner were interviewed on the WSFA News 12 Morning Show today for Pound For Pound. The 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. classes were featured doing deadlifts and warming up during the show. If you missed their appearances, watch the following clip.

#4# Registration Closed; Waiting List Started

Registration for Pound For Pound closed Tuesday evening (May 1). A waiting list has been started. If you want to register for #4#, complete the waiting list form on the #4# website. We will notify those on the waiting list once a decision is made. We are hoping to notify potential athletes no later than Sunday afternoon.
