AWF Southern Slam is the American Weightlifting Federations summer event. Work towards qualification in the rapidly growing AWF to make your way to the National Comp.

The Southern Slam is the first local AWF sanctioned meet and is proud to have POSITION APPAREL as the lead event sponsor!!! https://www.facebook.com/PositionApparel This will be an open weight class meet and will abide by IWF rules. Weight classes are below. So come Slam Bars with some off the Top lifters around!!!!
Slam Bars and Kill PR’s to either a loud blasting environment or a quiet one (your decision when you lift), either way, if you haven’t participated in an AWF event yet, you will be amazed at the feeling that surrounds these meets. The Top Sinclairs (1 Male & 1 Female) will be leaving with a custom Trophy and over $800 in cash and prizes each!! All Top three winners in each weight class will be giving medals and prizes!!!

§ 48 kg (106 lb)
§ 53 kg (117 lb)
