Milford CT - October 19th - 20th

A 2 Day Event for Four Person teams of equal Gender Mix (The finale of the Northeast Garage Games Affiliate Cup).

This is the THIRD YEAR of the most spectacular team event in the Northeast. A CrossFit Games competing box that exudes the feeling of competition with every breath.

This is the FINALE event for the Northeastern Affiliate Cup following Mass Mayhem (SOLD OUT) and Fall Faceoff (need to do at least two of these three to be considered for victory).

Four Person Teams of TWO GUYS and TWO GIRLS.  The teams do not need to be the exact teams from the other events.  So Affiliates, get your top crew together and lets all meet at Milford for one heck of a party!

Over the weekend there will be 5 workouts.

All teams will compete in 4/5 workouts.  The final event will have cuts down to the top 10.

The goal is to test who has the fittest team.  For that reason, there will be no major weight or complexity in the first four workouts that will take away from testing the teams fitness.  All members should be able to perform movements efficiently (OHS/snatch/ clean/ pull ups/ Ctb pull ups), however the weight of movements for the first four workouts will not be programmed to keep teams from competing.  Same holds true for gymnastics movements.  In the first four workouts you will not see muscle ups and handstand push ups. What you will see are challenges put together to test your will and strength as a unit!

Team workouts: 

WOD #1
15 minute Cap: 5 RM TnG squat clean in 30 seconds
As a team each person must complete a 5 RM TnG squat clean.  Once the bar starts moving you will have 30 seconds to finish.  You hands cannot come off the bar and you cannot rest the bar on the ground.  The barbell can never get lighter in the 15 minutes.
 
WOD #2 – 3 scores –
36 minutes on the clock
first 12 minutes – Isabel
second 12 minutes – Grace
third 12 minutes – Fran
 
you must get as many people through each workout in the set time.  Once one person starts they must finish the entire rep count before the next person begins.
 
Sunday
WOD #3 
15 minute armap
200m row
15 kb swings, 70/55#
15 burpees to a 45# plate
 
every rep counts in this workout.  It is gauntlet style as one person finishes the next person can start on that exercise.  The goal is max rounds in 15 minutes.  Every rep counts.
 
WOD #4
5 minute amrap of shuttle relay
10 meters out and back/ 20 m out and back / 30 m out and back.
 
*once one person finishes their relay they tag the next person to go.
 
WOD #5 – For the top 10 teams – 
will be announced Friday Evening at the athletes meeting
