Western Massacre WOD’s!!

The first and third WODs as performed as a team of two. For the second WOD, each athlete must pick one of two events. The fourth event is for the top eight men’s and women’s teams in the Competitor and CrossFitter categories.

WOD 1. Team Broad Jump. 3-2-1 go: At starting line, Athlete A broad jumps. He must stick the landing (that is, feet may not step or slide), but may put down hands. Judge uses chalk to mark a line in front of toe of athlete’s rear foot. Athlete B broad jumps from that line, etc. Athletes each get five jumps, which must be landed within 90 seconds. Jumps are for total distance.

No scaling.

WOD 2, Individual Event 1

Competitor:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 3 bar muscle-ups, 4 box jumps 30″, 5 overhead squats 135lbs
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 4 box jumps 26″, 5 overhead squats 95lbs, 6 chest-to-bar pull-ups

CrossFitter:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 4 box jumps 24″, 5 overhead squats 95lbs, 6 chest-to-bar pull-ups
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 4 box jumps 20″, 5 overhead squats 65lbs, 6 pull-ups

Novice:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 4 box jumps, 5 overhead squats, 6 pull-ups. Participants can scale as necessary.
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 4 box jumps, 5 overhead squats, 6 pull-ups. Participants can scale box jump height, load, and assistance for pull-ups as necessary.
Scored by total reps.

WOD 2, Individual Event 2

Competitor:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 5 HSPU, 10 pistols (alternating), 15 pull-ups. 
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 5 HSPU, 10 pistols (alternating), 15 pull-ups. 

CrossFitter:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 5 HSPU, 10 pistols (alternating), 15 pull-ups. 
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 5 HSPU, 10 pistols (alternating), 15 pull-ups. 

Novice:
Men: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 10 push-ups, 10 stationary reverse lunges, 10 pull-ups. 
Women: AMRAP in 10 minutes of 10 push-ups, 10 stationary reverse lunges, 10 pull-ups. 

Scored by total reps.

WOD 3. Team Chipper

Competitors:
AMRAP in 3 minutes of thrusters 115/83lbs
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of rope climbs 17′
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of hand-release push-ups
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of deadlifts 225/150lbs
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of double-unders

CrossFitters:
AMRAP in 3 minutes of thrusters 95/65bs
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of rope climbs 17′
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of hand-release push-ups
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of deadlifts 185/125lbs
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of double-unders

Score is max reps, modified as follows: rope climbs x 5, double-unders / 5.

Novices:
AMRAP in 3 minutes of thrusters 
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of rope climbs
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of push-ups
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of deadlifts
Rest 30 sec
AMRAP in 3 minutes of rope skips/double-unders

One athlete works at a time. Each team must use one weight for thrusters and deadlifts. Rope climbs may be scaled to seated from floor. Single- or double-unders.

WOD 4. Power Clean Relay Race: 60 Power cleans for time 

Competitors:
185/125lbs

CrossFitters:
155/105lbs

Athlete A sets up at bar. Athlete B waits 50′ away. Athlete A does reps. When Athlete A is ready to switch out, s/he bear crawls 50′ to tag in Athlete B. Athlete B bear crawls 50′ to bar and does reps. Athletes continue until 60 reps have been completed Last athlete on bar must cross 50′ finish line. First team across finish line wins. 

For each event, first place is worth 1 pt, 2nd place is 2 pts, 3rd is 3, etc. Winner is determined by lowest score.
