Oregon Crossfit – Winter Games Update0

We wanted to release some news about this exciting event happening next weekend in Bend, OR, hosted by Oregon Crossfit. Sean & Travis have a great event planned for everyone, here are some details related to the event that you might wish to keep in mind:

• Heats will be created early next week and you will be notified of your heat via email before the event.
• The first two WOD’s will feature rowing and some Kettlebell work. Videos on WOD standards and movements will be created/posted shortly as well as full WOD details.
• There will be a raffle for spectators who attend the event. Even if you can’t compete, come out and volunteer and/or watch the competition. It’s certain to be an event to remember!
• The event will feature 4 WOD’s for the RX division and then one final WOD for the top 10 RX Men & RX Women. Scaled competitors will complete 3 WOD’s throughout the day and the top 10 Scaled Men & Scaled Women will compete in one final WOD.
• Life as RX will be attending this event, so be sure to stop by their booth to do some shopping. There will also be Progenex products for sale!
• If you’re traveling to Bend for the event, there’s a special rate available for attendees of the event at The Phoenix in Bend – just 4 short blocks from Oregon Crossfit. .
• A Garage Games Judges Certification will be held at Oregon Crossfit this Saturday (1/7/12) at 11:30 AM. Sign up to be a judge here. Sean Wells is conducting the certification and can answer any questions you may have about the certification on Saturday. You can email him at seanwells10@hotmail.com
