The Garage Games
The Battle was fought hard on three separate battle fields, and after starting in Boston, working its way down to Milford and back up to the tough South Boston… the winners have emerged! The results can be seen HERE.
The Male RX Group was won by Brendan Marolda, who stayed right at the top, with the 11th place team finish his worst, giving him a strong 435 points on his way to a Concept 2 Row Machine. Concept 2 has been a staple in this series with machines in each of the three events. Joe Mcghee came in second with 380 points, and right behind him was Nick Ray with 370 points!
The Women’s RX Group was won decisively by Danielle Horan, as she took two first place finishes and was in 4th with her team at Milford. Danielle will also receive a C2 Rower for her efforts in the series! Her first place finish with 491 points was 75 points ahead of second place finisher Erika Snyder. Followed closely behind by Tracy Hutt!
The Scaled men were Owen Thurston, Nick Battaglia and Stephen Fiorentino. Katri Toikka took first in scaled women with Stacy Desmarais and Chriki Jones behind them.
Awesome job by all involved with this short series. Special Medals will be sent to all the top finishers of the series, as we move into a second year with a much larger scope, and greater competition and prizes to go with it!
