The Garage Games

Introducing the New England Events!!
Jul 2011 14

The Northeastern Series is a separate Garage Games regional series, distinct from the Northeast, and as such, will award winners.  If you want to try to make it to the top, you need to compete in ALL Three New England Events.

  1. New England Firebreather Festival, September 24/25
  2. New England Team Throwdown, October 22/23
  3. New England Finals, November 12/13
CrossFit New England – who has been a leader in Northeast events is hosting the inaugural Garage Games Northeast event, and will host a competition true to its namesake.  The Firebreather Festival will test the toughest RX level athletes, while providing a significant challenge to those who perform at the scaled level as well.  Three events on Saturday, two on Sunday with only the top moving on to the final challenge.  All abilities and ages are welcome to join this competition, and will enjoy the test of their fitness!
CrossFit Milford will be hosting event two, the Team Throwdown.  If you want to be considered for the overall ranking of the series, you need to compete in this event as well, so start working on your team of 2 guys and 2 girls (your entire team DOES NOT have to compete in all events for you to still be ranked).  The Team Throwdown has one division which will be satisfactory for all athletes, scaled and RX.  The events are designed to test each individual on the team, as well as the strategic planning of the team!  Be ready for anything and everything in this cool fall setting of New England.  Be sure to bring multiple teams from your gym and a host of spectators, as nothing brings out the gym pride as much as a team competition.

CrossFit Southie

CrossFit Southie will host the New England Finals.  A two day event held in the toughest gym in the region!  It is only fitting that Southie be the host for the final fight.  Also designed with RX and scaled divisions, this competition will be an epic battle for the top spot in the Northeast Series.  Athletes will be able to head into this competition knowing their overall placement, and knowing what they need to do to WIN!

All competitions are open to all competitors, you are welcome to make one, two or three of the competitions, but only those who make all three are ranked for the overall at the end of the day.  This is the fall event of all fall events!
