Kissing Couples and Handshake Couples

And 2 Divisions:

RX and Scaled

 

Kissing Couples are those that will in fact kiss each other before the event starts!

We are looking for real couples here.

Handshake Couples are just that.  Not dating or married to each other..

 

All competiors in the XY Games this year will be performing the exact same
WODs but there will be both RX and scaled winners!!!  The workouts are
designed such that anyone can complete the WOD’s as RX.

So choose Scaled if you are new to the sport, else go RX and see what you can do.

Movement Standards:

 

WOD 1

Back from last year for a repeat preformance….

Part 1

With a continuously running clock  each couple gets 1 attempt each minute for 5 minutes to perform a Snatch.  The score for each minute is the weight successfully snatched.  If you miss the lift the score for that minute is 0.  There will be a total of 10 Snatches attempted per team…  5 attempts per person

 

Part 2

With the clock still running each couple gets 1 attempt each minute for 5 minutes to perform a Clean & Jerk.  The score for each minute is the weight successfully Clean & Jerked.  If you miss the lift the score for that minute is 0.  There will be a total of 10 Clean & Jerks attempted per team…  5 attempts per person.

 

Part 3

For the time remain, roughly 10 minutes, Row as many meters as possible.  You may change rower as many times as you like, but your score will be the total meters rowed.

 

WOD: 2

5 Minute AMRAP

1 Power Clean 165/115  Scale 115/65

5 Front Squats 165/115 Scale 115/65

10 Toes To Bar   Scale 20 situps

Score is total reps performed by team.  You may work at the same time.  Each round is worth 16 points.

 

 

WOD 3

In this workout you move from each of five stations after two minutes. This is a 10 minute WOD.

 

  1. Alternating Wall Balls (Reps)
  2. Power Clean 95/75 (Reps) – Only 1 person working at a time.  Alternate as often as you like.
  3. Alternating Box Jump: 20″ box (Reps)
  4. Push-press: 75 pounds (Reps)
  5. Pull-ups – Chose CTB, Chin over bar, or jumping.  – Score 5 points for each CTB, 3 points for each Chin over the bar, and 1 point for each jumping pull-up.
  6. KB Swing – 1.5/1 Pood – Use either Kb you like.  1 point for each swing with 1 Pood, and 2 points for each swing with 1.5 pood.

The clock does not reset or stop between exercises.  On call of “rotate”, the athlete’s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep except where noted in pull-ups.
