World Wide WOD – The Preparation
Online competition with three unique WOD's over three weeks. All WOD's will be designed to minimize injury risk, or excessive soreness. This competition is designed to prepare you for the CrossFit Open, while giving you a chance at Online Competition, and a chance to WIN some prizes and cash!

The online competition for the Garage Games starts up with an event that will not test how strong you are, how well you perform endless repetition, or how many pull-ups you can do before your hands tear!  The competition will test how well you do classic CrossFit!

Designed to NOT tear your hands, pull your hammy, or leave you in endless heavy DL hell (this is a particular hell that we usually enjoy sending you to).  This event is going to give you a great chance to prep for the CrossFit Open, while giving you your first shot at a high score in the online portion of your overall series scoring (your best score of the WW WOD’s will count).

We will ask you to email your own video submission, and to post it on our facebook page.

WOD #2 for the World Wide WOD is announced without rounds, rep counts or order (and we can change weights before the full announcement). Why not get most of the details well in advance of the open. We will provide details early and you can perform these WOD’s early and submit once competition opens. Those details will only be provided to registered competitors, so if you want full details, register early!

Diddy Kong – this one you need two barbells or less (you are allowed to use 2, not 3 even though the WOD calls for three weights, you are forced to change the weight between two movements – we recommend no collars). You get to pick which bars you want to change.

RX Male/Female:
Muscle Ups/Chest to Bar Pull-ups, Dead-lift – 345#/205#, Push Press/Jerk – 155#/95#, Squat Clean – 205#/105#

Masters:
Muscle Ups/Chest to Bar Pull-ups, Dead-lift – 315#/185#, Push Press/Jerk – 135#/85#, Squat Clean – 185#/95#

Scaled Male/Female:
Pull-ups/Pull-ups (both allowed 3:1 jumping), Dead-lift – 255#/155#, Push Press/Jerk – 115#/75#, Squat Clean – 135#/85#

Beginner Male/Female:
Jumping Pull-ups, Dead-lift – 155#/95#, Push Press/Jerk – 95#/45#, Power Clean – 115#/65#

You will need to have access to a pull-up bar, rings, 2 barbells and an assortment of weights and a jump rope.

If you do not have access to two barbells, then you will need to make changes to the weight in addition to one already planned weight change for this WOD.  Which means you will be using three different weights on one bar, for a short rep workout.  It would be wise to obtain a barbell!

No C2 Rower needed, no box for box jumps, pretty simple list this time!

Remember – your top score of the three World Wide WOD’s in 2012 will count towards your overall score.  Also – cash prizes will be given as we see the registration totals for the event!

{go back and review WOD #1 to see the different WOD’s for the different classes of competition (RX, Masters, Scaled, Beginner)}
