Survival of the Fittest 1 vs 1
Find who is the fittest by competing head to head in over 20 different types of WODs/movements. There can be only ONE!

Check out the SotF Facebook page

For 2012, we will hve SotF 1vs1 at the Woodlands Park here in Woodstock, GA.  It will feature roughly 20 possible WODs in a 1 on 1 style event.

Come join the fight and try to survive to be the Fittest!

There are 4 divisions.  3 of the divisions (RX, Scaled, Beginner) will be separated into appropriately sized age groups.  These groups will compete against their age division to find the fittest.

If you want to know how you do against all ages then sign up for “RX OPEN”.  As long as you can do RX you can compete here.  In this division, age has no bearing, only grit, determination, and the ability to push to victory.

RX will complete in 4 WODs and the Firebreather Challenge “Training Grounds” mini obstacle course (2miles or less).

Beginner will have 3 WODs + FBC obstacle course.

all results posted to this link. I have to go back and verify a few cards still. Also, I did find one error on my part for a 2nd place finish.

Folks,

This park is very primitive. We have ordered toilets and hand washing station,
but as usual the rest is up to you. Bring a tent, cooler and goodies...whatever.
There will be food for sale.
There is a river to dip in if you want/need cooling off.
Competitors will park in the grassy lot.
Volunteers will park in the parking lot.
There are only 200 folks attending so this will be way smaller than Garage Games ONE which was at this same location.

If you have questions post on our FB site or email andy@crossfitgarage.com

Here they are. Study them well because you will be doing one from each area (Beginners will bypass Area 3) and there is no detailed athlete briefing. There will be an overview briefing so you understand flow and general rules. There are a couple things you may not have done, be ready. Just like last year every athlete will get one pass. Once you have used it we will mark you and your card. There will be no “byes” this year. There is one workout in each area that will accommodate 3 athletes.

General info and terms you will need to know:
- All movements and weights are subject to change without notice. But only if absolutely necessary.

- Events are scored by fastest time or most reps completed, in that order, unless otherwise noted.

- Tie breaker is a race to 20 burpees unless otherwise noted.

- Full lock out: Knees, hips, shoulders, and elbows are in one vertical line. Ears do not have to show.

- Jump/Lift off: Coin flip to determine the first athlete to attempt. Athlete A attempts a rep at chosen weight/height. If successful athlete B must complete a rep at that weight/height, or higher, to stay in. First to miss losses. In most cases multiple attempts are allowed.

Area 1:
All ties on max effort events are broken with one final, blind attempt. Athlete 2 cannot look while athlete 1 lifts. Races are broken with the standard 20 burpee tie breaker.
