This event will test the main foundations of CrossFit – Strength and Work Capacity.
The event will test competitors and determine their power on a POUND for POUND basis. Your weights used will be determined based on bodyweight, and your power output will be calculated! Yep, you get to show that you are the strongest based on your bodyweight!
Affiliate Championship: Affiliate owners, if you want to get your “team” in on the fight for the Affiliate Cup, then sign up under TEAMS.
You need to pick one representative for each division, RX Male and Female and Scaled Male and Female. You get a discount for picking the TEAM option, and be sure to name your TEAM based on your Affiliate! The lowest point total (best placements for each) of the whole team, will be used for your final placement! The winner takes home the Cup for their Affiliate to show off!
This will not be an event to hurt the people with less skill or favor the ones with long WOD endurance this will be a test of will power and strength all relative to body-weight One thing CrossFit has chosen to leave out in their pursuit to find the Fittest on earth, are weight classes and rightfully so it would be too difficult on the scale of regionals and the games.
This competition however, will be scored relative to your body-weight Some of the most important strength we have is relative Strength (body-weight to strength ratio). This will be tested in multiple WOD’s and tests. The victor will take home the “Jersey’s Strongest – Championship Belt” and a bunch of cool swag.

#2
AMRAP 7 Min Max Reps Strict Pull Ups into Max Kipping Pull Ups (as soon as you drop off bar you start thrusters)
Thruster(rx 135/95, scaled 95/65) at the 2min mark EMOM 5 Bar Hop Burpees
WOD will be scored on Power Output Ft lbs per second.. (strict pull up equals 2x bodyweight, kipping pull up equals 1x bodyweight, thruster equals 540/380)
Your total output will be divided by your bodyweight to equate your final score..
for Example
athlete #1 weighing 170lbs does 10 strict pull ups 10 kipping pull ups and 30 thrusters in the time allotted.
(170x10x2)+(170×10)+(30×540)= total load 21300/170 bodyweight= 125.29
competes against a much larger/ stronger athlete #2 that weighs 250lbs this athlete gets 8 pull ups, 8 kips and 35 thrusters.
(250x10x2)+(250×10)+(40×540)= total load 28900/250 bodyweight= 116.4
Athlete #1 Wins with less reps but pound for pound a higher output!
#3

Scoring is total load divided by bodyweight.
For Example if Athlete #1 weighing 170 gets through 7 bars 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, and 195 the total load of 1055/170 bodyweight=6.21
Athlete #2 weighing 250 gets through 9 bars 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 205, and 215 the total load of 1575/250 bodyweight= 6.3
Athlete #2 Wins
