CrossFit Little Rock is hosting a 4 person team competition on April 5, 2014.

30 teams consisting of 2 male and 2 female athletes will battle it out over 4 WODS.  This is the first event of it’s kind in Little Rock.  Teams do not have to be from the same box.

The most interesting aspect of the Rocktown Throwdown is that although there will be scaled movements, there will not be a scaled division.  Teams and athletes will have the choice of choosing the weights and movements for each workout.  Lighter weights and less complex movements will earn either less points for the wod in question, or come attached with more reps in order to move on.  This way, if there is one movement that may stop a team dead in their tracks, they will have the option of scaling just that small part of the WOD and not have to be placed in another division.
