The South Central area has always been known for the CrossFit efforts that come out of the great Lone Star state of Texas.  But the reality is that there are an amazing number of athletes along Interstate 10 from Louisiana’s western border to Mississippi’s eastern border hitting WOD’s everyday in the near 40 CrossFit gyms along that route.

So in order to promote this region, and get things moving, the first event is a two day event at Mississippi CrossFit with some pre-event activities on Friday night, it is going to ROCK!  Keep up with their facebook fan page and be sure to get your entire box out here competing.

The winners will accumulate points towards the South Central region, which includes Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  These events are open to anyone from any region, and we know we’ll see Alabama moving in this direction too!  The event is priced fantastic for a 2 day event at $85.  If the registrations ramp up enough, we will announce this event as a MAJOR, allowing you an opportunity to get hard to find points!
