Crossfit Purgatory: Redemption
This event is going to be HUGE and will be sure to test your strength, endurance and agility.

After a summer of training what better way to bring in the fall with a little Redemption. Prove you are not the same as you were in the spring.

We are excited to host a day of competition for all levels of athletes!

How do you know which one is right for you?  Here are some general guidelines to help you:

Rx Division Males/Females:  Should be able to complete FRAN and ANNIE Rx’d and under 9 mins each.

Scaled Division:  Should be semi-experienced CrossFitter capable of doing semi-scaled versions of both above.

Masters:  40 and over males/females at all levels can compete!  We will place you in sub-categories for scoring against people aged in similar decade (40-49, 50-59, 60-69 etc).

****UPDATE****We are announcing 2 of the workouts that you will complete the day of the event!  Be prepared for anything  – there will be more!

Planning info:

Judges/volunteers should arrive no later than 7:30am.

We start at 9am SHARP.  Athletes should arrive at 8:30am to register.

Opening ceremonies/athletes briefing will take place at 9:15am, after the first WOD.

You may bring your own jumprope, or use one that we have.

There will be down time in between WODs that should be sufficient to leave the premises to get lunch at any of the nearby restaurants if you chose to (there is a Sprouts grocers across the street).  We recommend you plan ahead, bring food, gym tents etc so you can stay nearby for placing info.  Our entire back alley will be blocked off for your lounging/warmup use.  We will have heat assignments pre-designated  at the registration table so you should always have an “idea” when you need to be present for a WOD.

Closing ceremonies/awards will be taking place at 5:30pm.

Cost $70 however price increases to $80 after Sept 1.  See Registration for details.  REGISTRATION WILL BE CAPPED AT 150 PEOPLE.  Registration includes official event shirt and goodie bag.

This year’s event proceeds benefit the Tucson MDA:

Imagine not being able to squat, snatch, pull-up or even worst…do burpees? Imagine not being able to dribble a ball without help, jump, or hit a T-Ball? Now imagine being able to give children without these abilities the opportunity to experience in a week what we get to experience in a lifetime! This year we all have the privilege to send local children in our community to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Camp. These are local children diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy who also have limited capabilities due to this disease.
