World Wide WOD – Submission Details
Jan 2012 27

Record your video:

  • Be sure to include the clock in the video for all WOD’s. You can use a stopwatch if it the time is clearly visible at the start of the WOD, and the watch stays in the field of view the entire time, and it is clear at the end of the video.  If it is a wall clock, be sure that it is also visible throughout, or you can use a computer (online digital timers) and once again, keep it in the field of view!
  • Upload it anywhere.  Youtube, vimeo, SICFIT… and provide us with the link for the video.  Email that link to WWW@crossfitgarage.com we’ll give you a response email if it is good.  In addition, you are welcome to post it on our facebook page, actually… we encourage it!  Our facebook page is a great place to get comments on your video.
  • Name your EMAIL.  Use your name for your subject heading like this: LastName_FirstName_Division_WOD_TotalScore… here is an example: Richards_Eric_RXMale_WOD1_400  if the score was a time (WOD#2) then I would have that time as 03:29.
  • As scores are updated, you will be able to see your total rep count in our published score updates.
  • File Score Grievances with an email and the title of the email is LastName_FirstName_Division_WOD_Grievance (where you actually use the word grievance).  We will post any grievance video to the facebook page for open commentary, and will adjust accordingly!

The Venue
Jan 2012 26

The venue is set. We will be doing the ThrowDown at Hillcrest Highschool in Tuscaloosa, AL. The facility is a 40×30 yard indoor Astro Turf field and access to the outdoor facility as well and has some great potential for a fantastic event location. We will be bringing Pull-up rigs, boxes, rings, kettlebells, bumpers, bars, rowers, atlas stones and they have 10 sleds for us to use as well….EPIC…is the name of the game and we hope to take it to another level. We have local business that will be there with booths as well as PROGENEX, Kill Cliff, The New Primal and athletes foot will have some Inov8′s at a booth as well!As for now we are keeping things pretty hidden and will not release any WOD’s until we know what the OPEN WOD is going to be for that week. What we do know is the event will be a great place to complete the OPEN. Use the spirit of competition to help your scores. Get judged and validated from us, hit 2 more WOD’s and go have a blast at the After Party…..oh yeah…and it ALL goes to The March of Dimes . You can plan on going Rx if you will be doing the OPEN Rx and Scaled if not. Any other questions about divisions please let me know. josh@crossfitinnovate.com
